Welcome to the Shabbona Elementary Parents Club Homepage!
Did you know that if you are a parent, teacher, administrator, or other member of the Shabbona Elementary staff, then you are also a member of the E.P.C.?
The Shabbona Elementary Parents Club is similar to a PTA, in that it is an organization that meets monthly to organize school events that promote positive communication and understanding between students, parents, teachers, and the community.
Why participate in the E.P.C.?
The ELEMENTARY PARENTS CLUB needs your involvement because your child’s school environment is best determined and improved by you!
By participating in E.P.C. sponsored activities, members help to sculpt a comfortable, quality learning atmosphere for Shabbona Elementary Students...in effect, helping their learning experiences to be the best that they can be!
The ELEMENTARY PARENTS CLUB sponsors many activities including: Open House, Book Fair, Family Reading Night, Accelerated Reader/Library Volunteers, Family Fun Nights, Assemblies, the Teacher Christmas Luncheon, Yearbook, American Education Week, Teacher Appreciation Week, and others. To support these activities, events, and teacher requests, we fundraise through the “Back to School” Fun Fair and Market Day.
When & Where are meetings???
Most of this year’s meetings will be held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 6:30-7:30PM in the Shabbona Elementary School Library.
