On Saturday, February 24th the Illinois Grade School Music Association Solo & Ensemble Contest was hosted by Earlville.

Sixty ICMS band and choir students participated in the contest. We are very excited about their excellent performances. Forty-three students earned 1st place and twenty-five earned second. We want to thank Ann Arrends, Mark Aska, Carol Hulthen, Karen Sjolund, Jay Monteiro, Julie Griffith, and Saige Anderson’s grandma for accompanying our students. Mr. Feken and Mrs. Schmidt deserves a big thank you as well for their dedication to excellence in our music program.
