· Students are restricted to the front area of the computers; you are not allowed behind any of the computers unless directed to do so.
· Students may only work in the software programs designated by their teacher. You may not open any program, system or utility panel, or data file, other than what you have been assigned to or been given permission to by your teacher.
· Students are not to print without permission from the teacher. Only the teacher should attempt to fix a paper jam or to refill paper.
· Under NO circumstances should a student give his or her password to another student. If a student uses another student’s password for entry intro the system, this act is considered cheating.
· No marks or other damage may be made in the room. This includes walls, ceilings, floors, tables, chairs, equipment, and mouse pads. Chairs are to remain flat on the floor (no leaning).
· The equipment is sophisticated and expensive. Absolutely no abuse to the equipment will be tolerated. Any suspected foul play will result in loss of lab privileges. Report any machine difficulties to the teacher.
· Students are expected to remain in their assigned seats until the bell rings. You are expected to clean your workstation at the end of each class. This includes using the proper logout procedure, pushing the chair under the table, putting textbooks away, and throwing away all wastepaper.
· Disruptive or dangerous behaviors not listed her will be considered a violation of these rules after one warning.
BREAKING ANY OF THE ABOVE LISTED RULES COULD LEAD TO THE LOSS OF YOUR LAB PRIVILEGES.
