ICMS Boy’s Basketball

The 7th Grade Boys Basketball Team at Indian Creek Middle School recently completed a very successful season. Their overall record of 12 wins and 6 losses earned them a second place finish with a 6-1 record in the Jr. 10 Conference, their best finish since 1998. Another highlight also came when they took home the second place trophy at the Plano Tournament, beating Earlville in overtime and Sandwich in the semi-finals, before losing to Hinckley-Big Rock in the Championship Game. The team played great basketball and tough defense all season long. Team members include Jake Bjorneby, Aaron Bolton, Tyler Reynolds, Jaron Todd, Kyle Lieving, Justin Swanson, Mitch Lave, Jim Jensky, Jake Gullstrand, David Scrozynski, Trevor Anderson, Sam Agler, Stephen Dodd, Carlos Sanchez, Tyler Ostrom, Nick Zurick, Dillon Martenson, and Logan Lee. A special thanks goes out to Lindsey Craig and Lindsey Conley for managing this year and also to Mr. Scott McClure for coaching the team. He is extremely proud of all their accomplishments. Our wonderful cheerleaders also supported the team during every home game and deserve a special thank you. They were: Ellen Witte, Megan Malone, Virginia Fillicetti, Nicole Goodrich, Samantha Meredith, Abbi Feith, and Kayla Von Bergen. Mrs. Julie Frankel did an outstanding job coaching them this year!
