Per P.A. 94-994, we must notify parents that they may access information regarding registered sex offenders. This law is intended to increase awareness of the Illinois Sex Offender Registry. The Illinois Sex Offender Registry is available through a link on the Illinois Place web site, at http://www.isp.state.il.us/sor/. Individuals may search the database by name, zip code, or country. Access is free to the public.
