College attended: Joliet Jr. College, Illinois State University, Governor's State University, and Xavier University Education: Coal City Elementary School, Middle School, and High School Graduate What are you certified to teach: Science and Math, but I enjoy classes in special education, gifted education, and sciences. Extra curricular activities (coaching and scholastic): (past) High School Girl's Basketball, Middle School Track, and Middle School Cross-Country Classes you teach: Math, Science, Social Studies, and Language Arts A little bit of information about yourself (family, hobbies, interests): My husband David and I live in Shorewood. We have three children Kian, Colin, and Kayleigh. We cannot forget to mention the beloved family dog, Coach. Much of our family time is spent outside playing sports, riding bikes, and traveling. Just like many other families the boys like to participate in activities all the time so we are booked season to season with baseball, basketball, and soccer. Kayleigh already proves to be outgoing and liking the excitement all the games bring. Personally I find happiness spending time with family and friends. I keep myself centered and enjoy running, swimming, and playing sports. What do you enjoy about teaching: (Principal) Having the opportunity to make a difference in children's lives on a daily basis.
