| Overview: | This is the second course in the college-bound math sequence. Concepts are skills learned in Algebra 1 are expanded upon and new ones are introduced. Geometry and trigonometry are introduced at this level. Emphasis is placed on scientific application. Graph paper and a calculator with sin, cos, tan, and log keys are required. MAT201 is double blocked; MAT221 is single blocked. |
