Rules for Behavior in
the Library
1. Upon entering the library, SIGN THE ATTENDANCE
SHEET at the circulation desk and LEAVE YOUR PASS IN THE BUCKET.
2. Please do not bring food and/or beverages to the library lab.
3. Please do not bring food into the library. Beverages are acceptable as
long as they are capped and not at the computers.
4. Respect the learning environment of the library by:
a. Not disturbing others with your voice or your actions.
b. Returning library materials and furniture to their proper places.
Rules for Internet and
Computer Use
1. Students using computers for schoolwork have
priority.
2. Any disruptive/destructive behavior involving the computers will not be
tolerated.
3. No food or drinks are allowed in the lab.
Rules for Checking out
Books
1. Students may check out a maximum of 5 books.
2. Students will have to pay to replace missing books or books damaged beyond
repair.
3. Books must be returned in 3 weeks; books may be renewed up to 2 times but
must be brought to the library for renewal.
Rules for Checking out Magazines
1. Students may check out 2 magazines if they
do not have any overdue library materials.
2. Students will have to pay to replace missing (or damaged beyond repair)
magazines and/or magazine folders.
3. Magazines are checked out for one week at a time.
Rule for Printing/Copying
There is no charge for school related
printing or copies. However, any personal copying is .10 each. Also, please
be aware of printing only pages that you need, doing a print preview is helpful
to make sure you are not printing extra pages not needed or anticipated.
Library fines for overdue materials are .05 per day. STUDENT REPORT CARDS
MAY BE WITHELD DUE TO FINES AND MISSING LIBRARY MATERIALS
Library Hours are: 7:45 AM –
3:45 PM Monday through Thursday, we close at 3:15 on Friday. At times there
will be meetings in the library after school which will limit availability
for student use.
