Overview: This course will include both hand building clay techniques, slab, coil, and pinch methods and throwing pots on the wheel. Sculpting will be incorporated through the use of clay in freestanding figures and in the cretion of mobiles. Students will learn all terms associated with clay techniques, the tools, and the firing processes. If a student enrolls in the second semester, the student will be working independently under the supervision of the instructor.
