Agricultural Mechanics

Overview: This agricultural mechanics course is the second year of the agricultural mechanics curriculum. The student will learn advanced welding techniques including, but not limited to: Plasma cutting, MIG, TIG, and brazing. The student will also do advanced work in electricity, framing and construction, and other relevant agricultural mechanic topics. This course is 70% hands-on and 30% classroom instruction. Improving workplace and computer skills will be a focus. Participation in FFA student organization activities and SAEP projects is an integral course component.
