The Shabbona Masonic Lodge #374 is awarding two scholarships of $1,000.00 each to a graduate of Indian Creek High School who is planning to enroll at a two or four year college/university or vocational/trade school.
Selection
for the scholarship will be based upon the following criteria:

Financial
need
2.
Academic
Standing
3.
Leadership
qualities
4.
Citizenship
The
Nominating Committee shall be comprised of the Principal, Guidance Counselor
and Senior Class Advisor. Their responsibilities are to ensure that all
graduating students receive applications, collect and review the applications
and make recommendations to the Selection Committee. The Selection Committee
will be comprised of Members of the Shabbona Masonic Lodge selected by the
Master of the Lodge.
Applications
must be returned with letters of references, one by a high school faculty
member and one by a person who knows the applicant and is not a family member
or a member of the Shabbona Masonic Lodge. Deadline for Scholarship Applications
is March 31, 2008.
