American Legion Post #654

The American Legion Post #654 will offer four(4) scholarships each academic year to any graduate of Indian Creek High School who Plans to enter a two year college, a four year college, or trade school.  Selection for the scholarship will be based upon five criteria:

1.                      Financial need.
2.                      Academic standing
3.                      Leadership qualities
4.                      Citizenship
5.                      Application received by deadline

The Nomination Committee is comprised of the building Principal, Guidance Counselor and Senior class advisor.  These individuals will see that deserving students receive an application, collect and review the applications and will make recommendations to the Selection Committee.  The Selection Committee is comprised of the Commander, Adjutant and Finance Officer of the American Legion Post.  The Selection Committee will choose the four scholarship recipients.

Application and the required two (2) references (see back page of application) MUST BE TURNED IN TO MRS. VANDRE NO LATER THAN April 4, 2008.
